Geirangerfjord is a fjord in Sunnmøre, in the county of Møre og Romsdal.It is 15 kilometers long and forms a branch of Storfjord. Geiranger is located at the innermost part of the fjord. Geirangerfjord is 600 to 1,500 meters wide.

Along the fjord lie Skageflå, Blomberg, and Knivsflå—picturesque, abandoned farms perched high on the hillside, accessible by trail and boat. The fjord is one of Norway’s most visited tourist destinations. On July 14, 2005, the Geirangerfjord area, together with the Nærøyfjord area, was inscribedas the “Western Norwegian Fjord Landscape” on UNESCO’s list of World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites.
